About This Role

As the Art Director, the contractor serves as a key creative contributor, supporting the development and application of Design Pickle's brand identity within the internal marketing agency. The contractor partners with Design Pickle as a brand and collaborates with the marketing team to help maintain alignment between creative outputs, brand standards, and strategic direction. The engagement focuses on contributing creative expertise and design execution that reflects the Internal Agency's visual standards and creative benchmarks. This service requires a strong understanding of branding and design principles, along with the ability to adapt brand guidelines across multiple platforms and audiences.

Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST/PST

Location: Remote, open to candidates in Argentina, Mexico, Colombia, Peru, he Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, or India.

Specific Scope Of Services

  • Collaboration: Collaborate with Account Executives, Channel Sales, Sales Management, and Revenue Operations to align on project priorities and creative objectives.
  • Creative Partnership: Partner with Design Pickle's Internal Agency to clarify expectations and deliver high-quality graphic design outputs that align with brand standards.
  • Design Development: Collaborate on the creation and refinement of visually engaging content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and digital channels.
  • Graphic Production: Refine and produce high-quality visual assets that support brand messaging and creative strategy.
  • Asset Coordination: Organize and maintain creative assets to help maintain efficient workflows and accessibility for future reference.
  • Professional Growth: Stay informed of evolving design tools, techniques, and trends to support the continuous enhancement of creative quality and output.

Requirements

  • Present an up-to-date portfolio demonstrating comprehensive experience in branding projects, from ideation and logo design to their implementation across various formats, with a strong focus on graphic design.
  • Robust conceptual, graphic design, type, and page layout skills for projects ranging from print to interactive to broadcast.
  • Exceptional eye for detail and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of branding.
  • Excellent English communication skills, with the ability to articulate brand guidelines and rationale clearly.
  • Practical experience using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Acrobat).
  • Working knowledge of Canva, Figma, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
  • Experience working on web design and marketing campaigns, email, newsletters, and alignment with conversion goals.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring creatives while maintaining hands-on execution responsibilities.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret project requirements, even when parameters are evolving.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality creative work on schedule.
  • Sound judgment, adaptability, and forward-thinking creative problem-solving skills.
