Big growth ahead for our US healthcare client that recently set up a global shared services center as they open a role for Marketing and Communications Director. They are seeking a driven, organized and solutions-oriented leader with strong experience in marketing operations, internal and external communications, and creative services to lead the back-office marketing and communications functions within its Global Business Services center in BGC Taguig. The Marketing and Communications Director will support the execution of enterprise marketing and communications strategies, directed by the U.S.-based marketing and communications leaders, by overseeing a team of marketing, communications and creative team members.
The Marketing and Communications Director will serve as the primary contact for the U.S. based
leadership across these service areas and will be responsible to the U.S.-based marketing and communications leaders. This leader will partner closely with onshore stakeholders (marketing, communications, and other cross-functional partners) to translate business needs into clear, actionable deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality execution. The Marketing and Communications Director will be responsible for building, managing and developing the back office marketing and communications team at the GBS center in Manila, fostering accountability, quality, and continuous improvement across all supported functions.
Essential Job Functions
Be responsible to system Marketing & Communications leaders to ensure flawless execution
of the organization's marketing and communications strategy.
Communicate proactively and consistently with system Marketing & Communications leaders
on project status, risks and key accomplishments.
Translate business objectives into detailed project plans with clear KPIs, milestones,
dependencies, and resource allocations.
Apply best practices such as Agile methodologies and design thinking to deliver efficient,
innovative solutions.
Provide functional, technical, and analytical guidance to team members to maintain quality
and alignment with strategic goals and brand guidance.
Oversee multiple project workstreams, including strategy development, campaign execution,
optimization, and analytics.
Contribute creative ideas and solutions to advance the overall strategy and enhance consumer
engagement.
Evaluate creative outputs to ensure alignment with business strategy and brand standards.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the marketing and communications team.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas required: Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
At least 5 years of experience with digital strategy and execution at a leadership capacity for large companies
8+ years of experience working in Marketing & Communications in a shared service
environment (required)
Experience leading large teams and multiple levels of leaders (preferred)
Skills/Abilities/Knowledge
Ability to translate business objectives into actionable digital strategies and project plans aligned with organizational goals.
Proficiency in managing complex projects, including defining KPIs, milestones, dependencies, and resources.
Ability to communicate proactively and effectively with executives and cross-functional teams, providing clear updates on risks and accomplishments.
Familiarity with creative platforms, marketing technologies, and emerging tools to support innovation projects and troubleshoot issues.
Demonstrates understanding of stakeholder needs and adapts messaging accordingly.
Works effectively with cross-functional teams, designers, and external partners.
Generates fresh, engaging content ideas and embraces emerging trends.
Comfortable adjusting strategies to meet evolving priorities and platforms.
Prioritizes tasks and meets deadlines in fast-paced environments.
Identifies content gaps and proposes strategic solutions.
