About You & the Role

You are a relationship-driven sales professional who enjoys working with clients, understanding their business needs, and helping them navigate financial markets. You are comfortable building connections, presenting solutions, and staying informed about market movements that may affect clients businesses.

As a Market Sales Officer, you will help corporate and institutional clients manage their foreign exchange requirements by offering treasury products and solutions such as foreign exchange spot and derivative products. You will work closely with relationship managers, account managers, and various business units to grow client relationships while contributing to the bank's sales and revenue objectives.

What You Will Be Doing

• Develop and manage relationships with corporate and institutional clients.
• Introduce and market foreign exchange solutions, including FX Spot, FX Forwards, and FX Swaps, to meet clients business needs.
• Proactively identify and acquire new clients while re-engaging existing accounts.
• Conduct client meetings and marketing calls, both independently and alongside relationship managers and account managers.
• Provide competitive foreign exchange quotations and market updates to clients.
• Understand clients businesses, assess their foreign exchange exposures, and recommend suitable hedging solutions.
• Cross-sell other banking products and services to deepen client relationships.
• Monitor transactions and coordinate the end-to-end trade processing and settlement of deals.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to foreign exchange positions and client activities.
• Support product knowledge sessions and share expertise with colleagues and trainees when needed.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Banking and Finance, Commerce, Marketing, or any business, mathematics, or science-related course.
• Experience in sales, client relationship management, or financial services.
• Preferably with exposure to foreign exchange sales and marketing.
• Knowledge of foreign exchange products, including FX Spot and FX Derivatives.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to analyze client requirements and identify suitable financial solutions.
• A proactive, customer-focused, and results-oriented mindset.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) certification is an advantage.
