ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are seeking an experienced Qualitative Market Research Recruiter to recruit, screen and schedule participants for qualitative market research projects including:
• Focus Group Discussions (FGDs)
• In-Depth Interviews (IDIs)
• Online Communities
• Usability Testing
• Customer Interviews
• Consumer & B2B Research Studies
This role is focused on market research participant recruitment - not HR or talent acquisition recruitment.
You will work closely with project managers and research teams to ensure high-quality participants are recruited, screened and confirmed for qualitative research projects. The role requires strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, confidence on the phone and the ability to manage recruitment quotas and timelines.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Review project briefs and understand recruitment requirements, quotas and screening criteria
• Contact pre-qualified survey respondents via phone to validate responses, assess participant suitability and confirm eligibility against screening criteria
• Recruit and schedule participants into focus groups, IDIs, online interviews, online communities and usability studies
• Manage participant bookings, confirmations, reminders and replacements
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and booking statuses within internal systems
• Monitor recruitment progress and provide regular updates to project managers
• Identify and escalate recruitment challenges, quota issues or data quality concerns
• Deliver a high standard of respondent experience and professionalism throughout the recruitment process
TIMINGS: Australian business hours, with occasional after-hours or weekend support depending on project requirements.
ABOUT YOU:
We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in:
• Market Research Recruitment
• Qualitative Research Recruitment
• Focus group recruitment
• Participant scheduling or fieldwork coordination
Preferred Experience:
• Experience recruiting participants for qualitative market research studies
• Experience conducting phone screening interviews
• Familiarity with focus groups, IDIs and qualitative methodologies
• Experience working with recruitment screeners and quota management
• Experience managing participant confirmations and attendance
Skills & Attributes:
• Strong verbal communication and phone interviewing skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow screening criteria accurately
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously
• Professional and confident communication style
• Comfortable speaking with consumers and business professionals
• Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
• Experience with CRM, panel or recruitment management tools is advantageous
