We are looking for two (2) Market Research Interns to support a short-term, face-to-face survey with 25 tenants of a local retail development in Davao City.
The tenants primarily sell locally made products, such as weaves, souvenirs, and other locally sourced goods. The survey aims to understand how tenants source their products and their openness to greater transparency around where and how products are made.
Scope of Work:
- Personally administer a draft 15-question survey to 25 tenants
- Conduct the survey face-to-face, asking questions and accurately recording responses
- Collect and organize individual survey responses
- Provide a brief separate synthesis of key observations or findings
- Submit all completed responses and summary/synthesis to the client
Ideal Candidate:
- Currently enrolled in a market research, marketing, business, social sciences, communications, or related program
- Based in Davao City
- Fluent in Bisaya and comfortable communicating with tenants in Bisaya
- Able to document and report findings clearly in English
- Comfortable conducting face-to-face interviews and surveys
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Reliable and able to engage respectfully with retail business owners/tenants
- Coursework or experience in field research, surveys, interviews, or market research is a plus
