Market Research, Lead Generation & Google Ads Testing Specialist

Location: Remote (Philippines preferred)

Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible (some EST overlap preferred)

About The Role

We are hiring a Local Market Research, Lead Generation & Google Ads Testing Specialist to support our outbound sales and local lead generation business.

This is not a traditional media buying role. Your job is to research local contractor markets, find businesses that are already buying leads, and help launch small Google Ads tests to prove demand.

You will help us identify markets where customers are actively searching for services, contractors are already paying for leads, and SEO competition looks weak or fragmented.

Your Main Responsibilities Will Include

  • Validating local markets quickly
  • Identifying profitable contractor niches
  • Building clean contractor lead lists
  • Reviewing basic local SEO opportunities
  • Helping launch small Google Ads tests
  • Supporting trial lead generation

You will work directly with the founder and follow a clear, repeatable playbook.

What You'll Do

Market Research & Validation

  • Analyze local service markets (plumbing, roofing, HVAC, etc.)
  • Use tools like Google Keyword Planner to evaluate:
    • Search volume
    • Cost per click
    • Competition level
  • Identify high-opportunity markets
Paid Ads (Light Execution)

  • Launch simple Google Ads campaigns (Smart or basic campaigns)
  • Validate inbound demand (calls/leads)
  • Monitor performance and report findings

SEO Opportunity Analysis

  • Assess ranking difficulty for local keywords
  • Identify gaps in local search results
  • Flag strong opportunities for organic growth

Process Execution

  • Follow internal SOPs for evaluating and launching markets
  • Work quickly and efficiently across multiple test markets
  • Provide clear summaries and recommendations

What We're Looking For

Must-Have

  • Basic experience with Google Ads (campaign setup + navigation)
  • Familiarity with keyword research tools (Google Keyword Planner)
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Ability to follow structured processes

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience with:
    • Local SEO
    • Lead generation campaigns
    • Call-based conversion tracking
  • Exposure to rank-and-rent or affiliate-style models
Profile Fit

  • Fast executor (speed > perfection)
  • Curious and data-driven
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Not customer-facing (back-end operator mindset)

Important Context

  • You do NOT need to be an advanced media buyer
  • You will NOT be managing large ad budgets
  • The goal is validation, not scaling campaigns
