The Trade & Supply Chain Market Manager is responsible for supporting the Corporate and Commercial Banking Relationship Managers, as well as Branch partners, in marketing Trade and Supply Chain Finance products to customers.
- Achieve the year-end individual and team Trade and Supply Chain non-interest income target, trade volume
- Provide Trade and Supply Chain product briefings to internal and external clients
- Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients
- Prospect and identify new business opportunities in the Trade and Supply Chain market
- Understand and promote Trade and Supply Chain products and services to clients
- Assess clients needs and provide appropriate trade finance solutions
- Negotiate terms and conditions of trade finance deals with clients
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, credit, operations, and legal, to ensure smooth execution of trade finance transactions
- Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and competitors in the trade industry
- Monitor and analyze client performance to identify potential upselling or cross-selling opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service and support to maintain strong client relationships
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, including client interactions via call report and deal pipelines
- Contribute to the development of trade and supply chain sales strategies
- Participate in industry events and conferences to build relationship and promote trade and supply chain services
- Continuously improve knowledge and skills in trade and supply chain through training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in trade sales and/or Credit background and/or RM role from a preferred Bank
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Familiarity with trade industry and understanding of market trends and dynamics
- Working knowledge of Bank processes and Trade and Supply Chain Products
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel for data analysis
