Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join the USANA's Philippines market development team as a market development manager. In this position, you will manage all related sales activities, including management of sales trend, development of sales strategy, actively participate in promotion planning, produce business analytic, and execute training and coaching session to brand partners.

What You Will Do as USANA's Market Development Manager

Essential

  • Maintain close contact and build strong partnership with independent brand partners, and in particular with identified leaders, including IDC members.
  • Identify emerging leaders and assist them to grow through monitoring, counseling and encouragement. Keep them abreast of USANA news and directions.
  • Develop and execute a yearly training program for brand partners at different level of skill and seniority with USANA. This includes, managing training calendar, facilitate onsite trainings, and coaching.
  • Plan and execute recognition and incentive programs that reward brand partners successful behavior, from congratulatory calls and lapel pins for rank advancements, up to annual Awards Ceremonies, local and foreign incentive trips, and regional incentive programs.
  • In conjunction with the Marketing department, organize prospecting events, such as Roadshows throughout domestic regions, product launches and Open Days, to enhance brand partners opportunities.
  • Provide timely and accurate feedback on industry and competitive situation to management.
  • Propose annual training and recognition budgets, and monitors spending against budget figures. In additional, compiles sales and promotion forecasting.
  • Monitor the results of promotional campaigns and share ideas and best practices with management.
  • Document all sales activities with primary purpose of increasing the number of brand partnerships.
  • Analyze brand partner group sales trends by the down-line and by region and create brand partner-line sales reports.
  • Lead, develop and supervise assigned staff.

  • Participate as a core member of the management team.
  • Maintain high degree of confidentiality.
  • Monitor budget expenditure and reconcile accounts for the market development team in accordance with corporate guidelines as required.
  • Handle brand partners complaints of related sales promotion & all issues raised by brand partners.
  • Build good working relationship with functional teams to clear internal job-related market development team's working files.
  • Advocate better communication among staff & brand partners.
  • Travel domestically and internationally on weekends and nights as required at USANA/Associate events.
  • Perform other duties or ad hoc projects as assigned or needed.

Background And Skills You Will Need


  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, of which 3 years at managerial/supervisory level.
  • Previous experience in the Direct Selling industry, natural products industry or similar role.
  • Strong working knowledge of Compensation Plan and USANA products and services.
  • High proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills, with strong training, stage presentation and public speaking qualities.
  • Passion in personal development, business analysis, coaching and network development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Must be detail-oriented and results-oriented, experience working in complex environments and ability to work autonomously.
