Job Description

  • Conduct area mapping to identify potential outlets for AFCMI products.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional Distribution (RD) Sales Personnel to develop and execute sales strategies.
  • Conduct sales calls to identified outlets and promote relevant SKUs based on the designated must-push list for each channel.
  • Perform account sizing and prospecting to assess sales potential, including identifying carried competitor products, gathering pricing information, and evaluating opportunities based on the accounts menu, product offerings, and business needs.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales calls, account conversions, customer feedback from non-buying accounts, competitive activities, competitor pricing, volume summaries, and other reports as required by the Area Sales Manager.
  • Conduct product presentations, negotiate business terms, and monitor the distribution and utilization of sales samples for potential accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to support sales growth and account development.
  • Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or any related field.
  • At least 12 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or a related role; experience in the FMCG industry is an advantage.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage customers effectively.
  • Proven ability to identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Knowledge of market mapping, territory management, and sales planning.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess account potential, monitor competitor activities, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and sales reporting tools.
  • Results-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to conduct fieldwork and travel extensively within the assigned territory.
  • Possesses a valid driver's license and can operate a motorcycle or four-wheel vehicle (if required by the role).
  • Demonstrates integrity, professionalism, and strong interpersonal skills.
