- Assists the Crewing Officer in preparing, follow up and ensuring that relief schedules are executed with joiner's having complete and proper documentations on or before the contract expiry of onboard seafarers.
- Arrange timely PEME, visas, flag state documents, contract processing and other related joining preparation for seafarers so as to have them travel ready well before expected dispatch.
- Prepares all required company and POEA documents and contract/s relating to seafarers engagement to vessels
- Monitors that anti-piracy, PDOS and other briefing courses are already attended by seafarers being processed for joining.
- Regularly updates Crewing Officer and the Processing Supervisor on seafarer documentation and despatch arrangements
- Ensures that all seafarer training and documentation is correct and valid as required by company's criteria prior dispatch for joining a vessel.
- Ensures availability of complete documentation on the crew 201 file on day of dispatch for Processing Supervisor checking and subsequent filing.
- In the absence of Crewing Officer, liaises with alternate Crewing Officer for handling all requirements of the fleet
- In the absence of either Visa or Flag State Assistant, applies for the required visa or FS document.-remove Partial 5%
- Completes the following to comply with government and company requirements
- Arranges the monitoring and timely issuance of uniforms and working gear to seafarers.
- Ensures that health insurance forms of Officers / Crew and other relevant forms and documents are timely forwarded to Welfare and Accounts (if applicable) Departments
Requirements
- Education: 4-year course graduate, business or maritime preferred
- Experience: 1- year staff experience in manning company required
- Specific Business Knowledge: Crew documentation familiarization
