Job Summary
We are looking for a
Marine Insurance Business Development Manager to expand our corporate client portfolio within the maritime industry. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working for an insurance company and selling marine insurance products to shipping companies, vessel owners, logistics providers, and other maritime organizations.
Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities within the maritime sector.
- Develop relationships with shipping companies, manning agencies, and logistics firms.
- Present and sell marine insurance solutions to corporate clients.
- Prepare proposals and negotiate insurance programs.
- Manage client relationships and ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with underwriting and claims teams.
- Achieve annual sales and revenue targets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
- At least 5 years of corporate insurance sales experience.
- Must come from an insurance company.
- Must have experience selling marine insurance to maritime companies.
- Strong corporate sales and negotiation skills.
- Existing maritime industry network is an advantage.
