We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Marine Engineer to support remote fleet operations. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in marine systems, who can effectively manage maintenance, compliance, and troubleshooting across multiple vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor vessel performance data and engine logs to identify potential mechanical issues
- Develop and manage the Planned Maintenance System (PMS), including service schedules and dry-docking timelines
- Handle technical procurement, sourcing engine parts, lubricants, and marine equipment
- Maintain organized records of vessel surveys, safety certificates, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with audit requirements and regulatory standards
- Provide remote troubleshooting support to Vessel Masters and crew during breakdowns
- Coordinate with teams across multiple locations to ensure smooth operations
What We're Looking For:
- Degree in Marine Engineering or relevant trade qualification (MED 1/2) with sea-time experience
- Experience in fleet operations, maintenance planning, or marine engineering support
- Proficiency in fleet management systems, CMMS, and Google Workspace
- Strong understanding of AMSA regulations and maritime compliance standards
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong organizational and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across different locations in a remote setup
