Job Overview
The Manufacturing Technician III is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and machinery (Auto and Manual) on the Assembly line. This includes set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize downtime and maintain product quality and safety standards.
Job Requirements
- Monitor and maintain the proper operation of machines to achieve production targets.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize production interruptions.
- Conduct equipment setup and changeovers for different production runs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers on process improvements.
- Implement 5S+1 (Sort, Set, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices.
What Your Background Should Look Like
- Graduate of atleast vocational, technical and/or diploma courses
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs.
- Proficient in reading and understanding part drawings.
- Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, or Automation disciplines.
- Knowledge of safety standards and practices.
- Basic computer skills for logging maintenance data.
- Experience with continuous improvement practices.
