Job Overview
The Manufacturing Technician III is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production equipment and machinery (automatic and manual) on the assembly line. This role includes equipment setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair to minimize downtime while maintaining product quality and safety standards
Job Requirements
- Monitor and maintain machines to ensure smooth operation and achievement of production targets
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize production interruptions
- Conduct equipment setup and changeovers for different production runs
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Document maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues promptly
- Work with Manufacturing Engineers on process improvements
- Implement and sustain 5S+1 (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, and Safety) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices
What Your Background Should Look Like
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and SOPs
- Knowledgeable in reading and understanding part drawings
