Job Summary
The Manufacturing Systems Engineer is responsible for managing manufacturing routing configurations within MRP systems such as Oracle, iPRO, eTrace, and SAP S/4HANA. The role oversees the setup, validation, and ongoing monitoring of migrated Bills of Materials (BOMs) for both finished goods and subassemblies to ensure manufacturing readiness, data accuracy, and system consistency. This position reports directly to the Manufacturing Systems Engineering Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain routing setups for all BOMs and subassemblies in Oracle.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely availability of manufacturing data required for production.
- Support Oracle BOM migration activities, including Process Engineering requests for item template updates and Make/Buy attribute changes.
- Verify that all product models have BOMs correctly loaded and synchronized in both iPRO and Oracle systems.
- Create routings for all loaded finished goods and subassemblies at Organization 355, as required.
- Validate the accuracy of routing data uploaded to Oracle.
- Coordinate closely with Process Engineering, Planning, Reliability Engineering, and Industrial Engineering (IE) teams to ensure correct routing locations, item attributes, and standard times.
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support team visibility, analytics, and company-wide reporting needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five (5) years of relevant experience, preferably in an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Strong foundation in ERP systems, particularly Oracle and SAP, with hands-on experience in system navigation and issue resolution.
- Solid understanding of BOM structures, organizational setups, item type templates, and Make/Buy configurations.
- Experience with manufacturing systems, facility layouts, and production processes.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to power supply design and testing.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Specialized expertise in manufacturing system routing setup within MRP environments.
- Proficiency in Power BI and/or Power Apps.
- Background in system setup, MRP, manufacturing process flow, engineering BOMs, IE setup, and production planning.
