The MES (Manufacturing Execution System) Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of MES platforms within a manufacturing environment. This role ensures seamless integration between production processes and IT systems, supporting the collection, analysis, and reporting of real-time data to improve operational efficiency. The MES Supervisor will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with manufacturing KPIs and lean principles.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage MES operations, ensuring system reliability and performance
Configure, maintain, and optimize MES platforms to support production requirements
Integrate MES with SCADA systems, IoT devices, and industrial communication protocols (OPC, MQTT)
Collaborate with production, quality, and IT teams to align MES functionalities with business objectives
Develop and maintain scripts, databases, and reports for real-time data monitoring and analysis
Troubleshoot MES-related issues and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime
Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, quality systems, and lean principles
Train and guide team members on MES functionalities and best practices
Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements for system efficiency
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
2+ years of experience in MES, SCADA, or other manufacturing IT systems.
Enough knowledge of MES platforms
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (OPC, MQTT) and IoT integration.
Experience with databases and scripting languages.
Understanding of manufacturing KPIs, lean principles, and quality systems.
Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt to dynamic environments.
