Job Description

The Manufacturing Excellence Manager drives operational efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma, 5S, TPM, and OEE monitoring. This role leads site-wide performance improvements, mentors teams on structured problem-solving, and standardizes processes to enhance productivity, safety, and overall manufacturing performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Continuous Improvement Initiatives - Drive Kaizen, SMED, and 5S projects to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste and costs.
  • Monitor Manufacturing Performance Metrics - Define, track, and report key KPIs such as OEE, sustainability, and safety metrics to identify improvement opportunities and strengthen performance reporting systems.
  • Develop Operational Excellence Strategies - Implement long-term manufacturing excellence strategies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build capabilities and adopt best practices across sites.
  • Leverage Data and Technology - Analyze production costs, waste, and losses to optimize production lines using digital tools, IoT, and predictive analytics.
  • Coach and Develop Teams - Train and mentor plant personnel on Lean Six Sigma tools, problem-solving methods, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance - Uphold strict compliance with CDO Foodsphere, Inc.s safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or Continuous Improvement within manufacturing or supply chain operations, preferably in an FMCG environment
  • Proven people leadership experience

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of environmental policies, sustainability practices, and regulatory compliance
  • Solid understanding of Health, Safety, and Environmental (EHS) management and fire protection
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to facilitate workshops, meetings, and improvement initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in data analysis and performance metric development
