Job Description
About the Company
We are seeking a highly analytical Materials and Manufacturing Planning Analyst to strengthen our planning, forecasting, inventory, and operational performance capabilities.
About the Role
In this role, you will turn complex data into clear insights and practical action plans. You will partner closely with Planning, Finance, Sales, and cross-functional leaders to improve forecast accuracy, inventory visibility, planning productivity, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and monitor planning, forecasting, and inventory KPIs and reports
- Translate data and analysis into clear presentations, communicating trends, insights, implications, and recommended actions to leaders
- Identify and implement new processes and improvement opportunities to maximize Planning team productivity
- Collaborate with Finance to establish Sales and Order forecast autoloads in the ESIOP Sales coverage file
- Partner with Sales on Orders-to-Sales forecasting through Oracle Sales Cloud
- Support ERP and advanced-planning activities related to production, scheduling, and inventory management
- Lead strategic continuous-improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in operations management, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field required
- Master's degree preferred
- 3-8 years of relevant experience in materials planning, manufacturing planning, supply chain, production planning, scheduling, inventory management, or a related field
- ERP experience required, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Oracle ERP and Oracle Sales Cloud experience strongly preferred
Required Skills
- Strong Power BI experience is essential
- Experience with advanced planning tools and forecasting processes preferred
- Leadership experience, including the ability to motivate teams and drive performance goals
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous-improvement methodologies is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and trends into informed decisions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with Finance, Sales, Planning, and other cross-functional partners
- A proactive, improvement-focused approach to operational challenges
