We are seeking a meticulous Manual QA Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. This role focuses exclusively on manual testing without coding or automation responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Design, document, and execute manual test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
  • Identify, log, and track defects using standard defect management tools, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Perform regression, functional, integration, and user acceptance testing to validate software quality.
  • Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality risks.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results and communicate findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on QA best practices and contribute to continuous process improvements.
  • Assist in mentoring junior QA team members and share knowledge on manual testing techniques.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in manual software testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA methodologies.
  • Experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
