REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Open to Filipinos and Filipino-Chinese who can speak, read, and write/type in Mandarin and English. (HSK 5 passer or equivalent conversational fluency)
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field
Experience with SIEM, EDR, or security monitoring platforms
Knowledge of CrowdStrike, Rapid7, Cisco Umbrella, Microsoft Security solutions, or similar tools
Security certifications such as Security+, CySA+, or equivalent
Previous SOC or cybersecurity experience
Understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals
Knowledge of security monitoring, threat detection, or incident response
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Willingness to work on shifting schedules or night shifts

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB APPLICATION:
Monitor security alerts and events using security monitoring and SIEM tools, investigate suspicious activities and potential cybersecurity incidents, and identify possible threats to organizational systems and networks.
Escalate security threats, coordinate with internal IT and cybersecurity teams to facilitate incident resolution, and document investigation findings, incident reports, and recommended corrective actions.
Conduct vulnerability assessments, support remediation activities, and assist in implementing security controls and best practices to strengthen the security of systems, networks, and organizational infrastructure.
Help maintain endpoint security and threat detection solutions, support cybersecurity awareness programs, and participate in security compliance initiatives to ensure adherence to established policies and procedures.
Communicate security-related information, incident updates, and technical findings effectively in both English and Mandarin while participating in shift-based security operations as required.
