Job description:
What You'll Be Doing Primary:
- Deliver engaging and outcomes-based Mandarin language courses
- Mentor and guide students toward language proficiency and cultural competence
- Develop innovative learning materials, language activities, and assessments
- Facilitate immersive and interactive language-learning experiences
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, and quality improvement initiatives
- Engage in research, scholarly activities, and cultural programs
- Provide academic advising and consultation to students
- Participate in professional development programs, seminars, conferences, and community engagement activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Foreign Languages, Education, or a related field
- Preferably with Master's Degree aligned with Education, Linguistics, Languages, or a related field
What We're Looking For
Experience:
- Native or near-native proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
- Teaching certification or internationally recognized language teaching credentials are an advantage
- At least three (3) years of relevant teaching, professional, or academic experience
- Teaching experience in higher education is an advantage
- Strong communication and intercultural skills
- Proficient in technology-enabled learning platforms and digital teaching tools
- Demonstrates professionalism, cultural sensitivity, integrity, and commitment to continuous learning
