Qualifications
- Fluent Mandarin skills required, including professional speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension for customer or student support
- StrongEnglish communication skills for coordination, documentation, and stakeholder support
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, and relevant experience
- At least 3 years of experience in customer service, student support, admissions, international education, or related roles
- Must be willing to work onsite
- Able to support Mandarin-speaking customers or students with varying English proficiency and explain complex processes clearly in Mandarin and English
- Strong relationship-building skills with experience working in multicultural environments
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage priorities, solve problems, exercise sound judgment, and learn new tools, systems, processes, and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of US, UK, or Australian higher education, immigration, and compliance requirements is preferred
- Experience in student admissions, recruitment, international education, education counsellor support, or higher education services is an advantage
- Experience with chat, email, messaging support, Salesforce, or similar CRM platforms is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist prospective students and education counsellors in understanding admission offers and guide them through confirmation and enrollment processes
- Serve as the first point of contact for education counsellor queries across all tiers related to admissions policies, applications, and status updates
- Deliver accurate and timely responses to student and counsellor inquiries via chat, email, and phone
- Research information from multiple sources and apply sound judgment to resolve complex or unclear situations
- Build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Support admissions operations by resending documents, processing basic requests, and clarifying offer conditions or application requirements
- Provide clear guidance on admissions processes and requirements
- Support pipeline management to progress applications and deliver actionable insights for conversion activities
- Refer and escalate issues to appropriate departments, ensuring all risks, flags, and opportunities are raised accordingly
- Maintain accuracy and quality of data entered into all systems
- Meet SLAs related to response times and customer satisfaction
- Adhere to Australia, UK, and US compliance requirements
- Attend training sessions to stay aligned with admissions policies, compliance standards, and system updates
