Our client is a leading multinational logistics and supply chain solutions provider seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead its Philippines business. This is a strategic leadership role with full responsibility for business performance, operational excellence, customer partnerships, and long-term growth.
The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in temperature-controlled logistics and food supply chains, coupled with strong commercial acumen and proven P&L leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall country business with full P&L accountability.
- Drive operational excellence across warehousing, transportation and cold chain logistics.
- Ensure the highest standards of food safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow revenue, profitability and market share.
- Strengthen relationships with key strategic customers and act as the executive sponsor.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand service offerings.
- Lead business transformation, digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build, coach and develop a high-performing leadership team.
Requirements
- 15+ years of leadership experience in logistics, supply chain or contract logistics.
- Strong expertise in cold chain logistics, foodservice, QSR or temperature-controlled supply chains is essential.
- Proven experience managing complex logistics operations with a strong operational focus.
- Commercially astute with experience owning a business unit or country P&L.
- Experience as a Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager or Business Unit Head within a 3PL, logistics or supply chain organization is highly preferred.
- Candidates from leading food, beverage or FMCG companies with end-to-end supply chain leadership experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated success leading large teams, driving operational improvements and managing executive-level customer relationships.
- Excellent strategic leadership, stakeholder management and people development skills.
