Manager, Technology Strategy & Business Value Realization

Job Roles and Responsibilities

I. Role Purpose

The Manager, Technology Strategy & Business Value Realization serves as the ETG Group's de facto Chief of Staff for Technology bridging the gap between technical execution and financial outcomes. This role owns the ClickUp Single Pane of Glass portfolio management platform, governs IT financial performance (CAPEX/OPEX), drives vendor ROI, and manages asset lifecycle programs that directly contribute to Asticom's 3.75B GSR targets. The Manager acts as the ETG's internal PMO, ensuring every technology investment is purposeful, trackable, and monetarily accountable.

II. Key Responsibilities

A. Portfolio & Project Management (PMO)

• Own and operate the ClickUp platform as the ETG's Single Pane of Glass providing real-time visibility into all ongoing projects, resource utilization, and delivery milestones across all five towers
• Establish and maintain the ETG PMO Framework: standardized project intake, prioritization scoring, delivery cadences, and cross-tower dependency management
• Drive 24 high-impact technology programs per year in collaboration with ETG Tower Managers, from ideation to post-implementation value review
• Produce ManCom-ready project portfolio dashboards using Power BI or equivalent reporting tools

B. IT Financial Management & CAPEX Recovery

• Own the ETG's IT budget rationalization process tracking CAPEX and OPEX spend, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and ensuring financial reporting accuracy
• Lead the laptop buyback and asset disposition program to drive CAPEX recovery, targeting 1M+ in recoverable value within the first 90 days
• Conduct IT vendor ROI analysis and total cost of ownership (TCO) reviews, eliminating wasteful spend and renegotiating contracts for better value alignment
• Maintain and report on IT financial performance metrics to the CITO and ManCom

C. Vendor & Contract Performance Management

• Own the vendor performance scorecard framework, tracking SLA compliance, delivery quality, and commercial value across all ETG-managed vendors and managed service providers
• Lead contract renewal, renegotiation, and vendor consolidation initiatives to ensure Asticom's technology vendor ecosystem is lean, high-performing, and strategically aligned
• Serve as the escalation point for vendor disputes and contract non-compliance issues, working with Legal and Procurement to enforce accountability

D. IT Asset Lifecycle Management

• Govern the end-to-end IT asset lifecycle from procurement and tagging through deployment, tracking, and disposition ensuring 100% accuracy in the IT Asset Management (ITAM) system
• Reconcile physical inventory with financial records for CAPEX/OPEX compliance, supporting internal and external audit requirements
• Coordinate with Tower 1 on Project TOW (Apple Refresh) asset management and with Tower 5 (GRAE) on CMDB integrity and audit readiness

E. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategy Enablement

• Act as the primary ETG liaison for all business departments (Finance, HR, Operations, Sales), translating departmental technology needs into prioritized ETG initiatives
• Partner with Tower 5 (Governance, Risk & Audit) to ensure all PMO-tracked projects incorporate appropriate compliance controls and audit trails
• Provide strategic mentorship and coaching to junior analysts and project coordinators within the Tech Strategy tower

Job Qualifications

A. Experience

• Minimum 58 years of experience in Information Technology, IT project management, IT financial management, or a technology strategy/PMO function within an enterprise or managed services environment
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder technology portfolios with accountability for delivery timelines, budget adherence, and business outcomes
• Direct experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM), vendor contract management, and CAPEX/OPEX financial tracking in a technology organization
• Background in process optimization, Quality Driven Management (QDM), or continuous service improvement (CSI) methodologies is strongly preferred

B. Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or a related field
• A dual-degree or post-graduate qualification combining business and technology is a significant advantage

C. Certifications

• Required: ITIL 4 Foundation to align with Asticom's Service Value System and support cross-tower process governance
• Required: Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile, PRINCE2, Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Diploma in Project Management certification or demonstrated equivalent project delivery track record at portfolio scale
• Preferred: Google IT Support Professional Certificate or equivalent foundational digital operations credential
• Preferred: Microsoft Power BI, ClickUp Advanced, or equivalent project/data platform certifications
• Preferred: Business Analysis credentials (CBAP or equivalent)

D. Competencies

• Advanced proficiency in project portfolio management platforms (ClickUp, Jira, MS Project, or equivalent) as the ETG's single source of truth
• Strong financial acumen: ability to build, read, and present IT budget models, TCO analyses, and CAPEX recovery business cases to executive audiences
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills comfortable presenting to ManCom, business unit heads, and external vendors with equal clarity and authority
• Data-driven mindset with experience using Power BI or similar tools to produce executive management reporting
• Demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy, make trade-off decisions under ambiguity, and maintain strategic focus while managing operational detail
