What The Role Is
The Corporate Planning function at VITAL drives the development and implementation of strategies to achieve VITAL's mission outcomes. As a Manager/ Senior Manager in Corporate Planning, you will contribute to shaping VITAL's future and advancing our mission to transform and deliver corporate shared services for the Singapore Public Service. This role involves strategic planning, performance monitoring, external profiling & communications, and management of visits and international relations.
What You Will Be Working On
Strategic Planning and Performance Monitoring
- Conduct environmental scanning to identify trends and opportunities
- Develop annual planning guidance and support the work planning process
- Review and formulate Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Curate agendas for cross-agency meetings and compile periodic reports
- Design and organise key corporate events such as Management Retreats
- Facilitate alignment among VITAL management and staff
External Profiling and Communications - Oversee corporate communications platforms and branding collaterals
- Create content highlighting VITAL's achievements and initiatives
Visits and International Relations - Coordinate visits by foreign and local entities to facilitate knowledge exchange
- Support VITAL Advisory Panel activities
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking candidates with the following attributes and skills:
- Analytical thinking and good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Interpersonal skills to engage with staff at various levels
- Fresh graduates with an interest in public sector work are welcome to apply
- Candidates with experience in corporate planning, strategy development, or related fields will be considered for the Senior Manager position
