Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
• Professional certifications in Product Management, Agile, Scrum, or related disciplines are an advantage

Experience

• 5-7+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Product Development, Business Analysis, or related product roles, with demonstrated responsibility for products through discovery, strategy, and delivery
• Proven experience developing product visions, strategies, roadmaps, business cases, and product requirements
• Background working with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Engineers, business stakeholders, and external partners

Knowledge and Skills

• Demonstrated discovery capability, including customer interviewing, problem validation, and evidence-based decision-making that informs product direction
• Strong prioritization and roadmap development skills, including value-based trade-offs, transparent frameworks, and outcome-driven rather than feature-driven roadmaps
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate product direction to senior business stakeholders, align expectations, and reframe solution requests into customer problems
• Deep understanding of Agile product delivery within a Product Manager/Product Owner (PM/PO) model and effective collaboration in a matrixed environment
• Familiarity with the division's product lifecycle-Discovery, Solution Review and Assessment, Product Development, and Release and Learn-including product requirements document (PRD) standards and formal sign-off processes

Responsibilities

Product Strategy and Vision

• Define the product vision, value proposition, and long-term strategy for assigned products, aligning them with division and portfolio objectives and translating them into product goals and success metrics.
• Validate product direction continuously through market analysis, customer research, and performance data.

Customer and Market Discovery

• Coordinate continuous discovery through customer interviews, problem validation, usability input, and feedback loops, working hands-on with the Product Owner and Designer from discovery onward.
• Develop the initial PRD from end to end, including problem framing, personas, jobs to be done (JTBD), a high-level epic structure and story map, low-fidelity wireframes, and measurable leading, lagging, and guardrail KPIs.

Roadmap and Prioritization

• Manage an outcome-driven product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives through a single, transparent framework based on customer impact, business value, and strategic alignment.
• Make clear, timely trade-off decisions that balance scope, value, risk, and time to market, documenting them for stakeholders and the squad.

Stakeholder Leadership

• Manage business stakeholder relationships, communications, updates, and expectations, serving as the primary product representative for direction, progress, and outcomes at all business levels, including senior stakeholders.
• Reframe incoming solution requests into customer problems and value opportunities, aligning stakeholders on priorities, sequencing, and success measures.
• Coordinate external partner and vendor relationships where applicable, aligning integrations, timelines, and contractual expectations.

Delivery Partnership and Execution Support

• Guide the PRD through Solution Review and Assessment to formal sign-off, refining it through joint requirements elicitation with the Product Owner, Technical Lead, and Designer.
• Support the Product Owner and squad throughout Product Development with clarifications and the application of agreed scope and trade-off decisions, while the Product Owner manages day-to-day backlog administration.

Product Quality and Outcomes

• Assume accountability for assigned product outcomes, monitoring post-release adoption and performance against the KPIs defined during discovery and assessing whether released work achieves its targets.
• Incorporate lessons from development and production into discovery and the roadmap, completing the product lifecycle feedback loop.
