Pure Form is looking for a Manager of Governance & Operational Compliance to serve as our primary internal check and balancer. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role designed for a systems thinker who ensures that our internal operations, external regulatory standing, and future certifications are always on point.
You will act as the architect of our internal standards and the watchdog for their execution. Your mission is to ensure that as we scale across ASEAN, Pure Form remains a model of operational integrity and regulatory excellence.
Role Objective
To lead the development, implementation, and audit of Pure Form's operational standards. You will translate expert guidance into executable internal processes, ensuring 100% adherence to government regulations (FDA/BOC/IPO), industry standards and certifications (ISO, etc.).
Key Responsibilities
1. Standards & SOP Development
- Expert Liaison: Work directly with internal leads and 3rd-party expert consultants (Legal, FDA, Tax, ISO) to translate high-level requirements into clear, actionable Internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Cross-Functional Architecture: Collaborate with department heads (Logistics, Marketing, Sales) to build workflows that integrate compliance into daily operations without sacrificing agility.
- Certification Mapping: Lead the end-to-end setup for optional certifications (e.g., ISO, Halal, or ESG standards), defining the roadmap for the company to achieve and maintain these benchmarks.
2. Regulatory & Government Governance / External Compliance
- Corporate Compliance: Ensure absolute adherence to all statutory requirements across every market, including SEC, BIR, Labor, and LGU filings.
- Industry-Specific Oversight: Manage the License to Operate lifecycle, ensuring full compliance with the FDA, Bureau of Customs (BOC), Intellectual Property Office (IPO), and other business-critical regulators.
- Expansion Readiness: Work with regional partners to ensure that as we enter new ASEAN markets, our distribution and corporate structures are compliant from day one.
3. Operational Audit & Risk Management
- Internal Auditing: Conduct regular Spot-Check audits of key operational areas (including finance-adjacent processes) to verify that teams are strictly following established SOPs.
- Process Adherence: Verify the integrity of supporting documentation for all business activities, ensuring we are always audit-ready for both internal reviews and external inspections.
- Corrective Action: When process breaks occur, lead the gap analysis and coordinate with teams to implement permanent systemic fixes.
4. Risk Management & Mitigation
- Risk Identification: Proactively identify operational, regulatory, and legal risks within current workflows, particularly those affecting international distribution and multi-market expansion.
- Mitigation Strategy: Develop and maintain a Risk Register, proposing internal controls and system improvements to minimize the company's exposure to compliance lapses or operational failures.
- Internal Control Testing: Perform regular testing of internal controls to ensure they remain effective as the company grows in complexity.
5. Institutional Memory & Recordkeeping
- Single Source of Truth: Maintain a centralized, master digital archive of all corporate records, board minutes, regulatory filings, and finalized SOPs.
- Liaison Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and consultants, ensuring a seamless and transparent exchange of information.
Who You Are
- 5+ Years of Tenure: Proven experience in a role focused on Governance, Compliance, Quality Management (QA/QC), or Operational Audit.
- Regulated Industry Background: Prior experience in industries (and relevant positions) where the rules matter most, such Pharma, Biotech, Food & Beverage, or FMCG or similar
- SOP & Policy Creation: A portfolio or history of taking complex requirements (Legal, FDA, or Corporate) and building internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Audit Exposure: Experience either conducting internal audits or managing the company's side of an external audit (Tax, Customs, or Health Authorities).
- ASEAN/Cross-Border Exposure (Preferred): Familiarity with the logistical or regulatory friction of moving goods and data across international borders.
Education & Certifications:
Certifications (The Plus Factors):
- ISO Standards: Experience or certification in ISO Lead Auditing (9001, etc.).
- GRC Certifications: Certified Compliance Professional or Risk Management certifications.
- Trade/Regulatory Training: Specific training in FDA regulatory affairs or Customs/Trade compliance.
- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Law, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
