About the role In this role you will lead consulting or operational teams specialising in clinical and coding denials. You will perform rootcause analyses, implement prevention strategies and collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Team leadership: supervise clinical denial specialists; manage client engagements and deliverables.
- Denial resolution: manage and resolve clinical and coding denials including rootcause analysis and appeal strategies.
- Billing operations: oversee hospital billing, claim edit resolution and underpayment/variance analysis.
- Performance reporting: analyze KPIs and drive continuous process and financial improvements.
- Stakeholder management: communicate with clients, payers and internal teams to implement best practices.
Musthave qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years experience leading teams specializing in clinical and coding denials within RCM.
- Indepth knowledge of US hospital and medical group AR management, payer policies and clinical denial drivers.
- Proven ability to manage and resolve clinical and coding denials, perform rootcause analysis and implement prevention strategies.
- Expertise in hospital billing, claim edit resolution and underpayment analysis.
- Experience in performance reporting, KPI analysis and continuous process and financial improvement.
