KBF is currently seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our KBF team in the Philippines.

The HR Manager leads the Human Resources operations for KBF Advisory's Philippines-based teams. This role serves as an HR advisor by driving HR initiatives that support the organization's growth and ensuring consistent, compliant, and people-centered HR practices across all service lines. The HR Manager is responsible for the Philippines HR function, overseeing employee and labor relations, compliance, talent management, policy development, and organizational culture. This role reports to the US HR Director and maintains strong working relationships with US leadership across all service lines.

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR operations across the Philippines offices, acting as the regional subject matter expert on local compliance, employee relations, and people practices while maintaining alignment with firm-wide HR strategy.
  • Develop and implement HR programs, policies, and process improvements across the organization, ensuring clear communication and adoption
  • Review and update the employee handbook, HR policies, HR documentation, and internal processes to ensure alignment with Philippine labor laws (including DOLE regulations and related Department Orders/issuances), regulatory requirements, and company practices
  • Manage HRIS processes including onboarding, offboarding, employee records, open requisitions, career site administration, and recruitment platforms such as ADP and LinkedIn
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and coordinate with government agencies such as DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth (PHIC), Pag-IBIG (HDMF), and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) for reportorial and compliance requirements
  • Manage employee and labor relations matters in accordance with Philippine labor law, supporting managers/counselors in resolving workplace concerns in a fair, professional, and compliant manner; conduct and oversee due process procedures including administrative investigations, Notices to Explain (NTE), hearings, and Notices of Decision, coordinating with external legal counsel when necessary
  • Ensure organizational compliance with the Data Privacy Act (RA 10173) as it relates to employee data handling and HR processes; maintain accurate HR documentation and ensure employee records are managed in accordance with company policies and data privacy standards
  • Maintain accurate employee, training, and compliance records, and prepare HR reports, analytics, and data requests for leadership, providing insights on headcount, turnover, compliance, and other key metrics
  • Lead benefits administration, including HMO enrollment, employee inquiries, and coordination with benefits providers and external vendors
  • Champion a positive workplace culture by leading engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and team-building activities
  • Perform other responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience spanning multiple HR functions in the including:
    • Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, DOLE regulations, the Data Privacy Act, and government compliance requirements
    • Experience developing HR policies and processes, including employee handbooks
    • Experience managing employee relations matters and disciplinary due process procedures
    • Experience with full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, interviews, reference checks, offers, and onboarding
    • Proficiency with HRIS systems and recruitment platforms such as ADP and LinkedIn
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to advise and influence leadership
  • Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information and sensitive employee matters
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • This position is hybrid role with a 3-day minimum on-site in our BGC, Philippines office.
Preferred Qualifications

  • HR certification such as SHRM-CP, or equivalent
  • Experience in a professional service, advisory, or accounting firm environment, preferably with a US based company

This position is open to Philippine-based applicants only. The role is based in our BGC office with an onsite requirement of three days per week.
