Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced healthcare revenue cycle professional with a strong background in hospital billing, clinical denials management, and team leadership. This role is responsible for leading consulting engagements that help healthcare organizations optimize revenue cycle operations, improve financial performance, and enhance the overall patient experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader who can manage client relationships, drive process improvements, and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead consulting engagements focused on improving healthcare revenue cycle operations and financial performance
- Partner with healthcare clients to identify operational challenges and recommend effective process improvements
- Oversee initiatives involving clinical denials management, hospital billing, and revenue recovery strategies
- Manage project plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor throughout engagements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable operational improvements
- Coach, mentor, and develop team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous learning
- Identify opportunities to leverage technology and automation to streamline revenue cycle processes
- Monitor project performance using data and key performance metrics to drive informed decision-making
- Ensure all work is delivered with a high level of professionalism, integrity, and quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 7–11 years of relevant experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, consulting, or healthcare operations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage clients and internal stakeholders in English.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams and client-facing projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with clinical denials management and hospital billing operations.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle processes, including front-end, mid-cycle, and back-end functions.
- Experience implementing operational improvements that increase efficiency and financial performance.
- Familiarity with automation tools, workflow optimization, and technology-enabled process improvements.
- Proven ability to work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful client outcomes.
- Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methodologies.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced consulting or healthcare environment.
- Passion for improving both operational performance and patient care through effective revenue cycle management.
