Job Description

Purpose

The role of Manager, Finance & Accounting is to lead our night shift General Ledger team (10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PHT) supporting our US business mainly oversight of the day-to-day accounting operations as well as management of team performance.

Work Arrangement

  • On-site presence is required two days per week, including Thursdays.

Key Missions

  • Financial Accounting & Ledger Management
  • Identify and record all General Ledger transactions (e.g., cut-off accruals, provisions, payroll, taxes).
  • Reconcile sub-ledgers to the General Ledger, perform ageing analyses, and ensure the completeness and fair valuation of assets and liabilities.
  • Oversee AP, AR, inventory and fixed-asset ledgers, and manage cost-accounting entries as required.
  • Financial Close & Reporting
  • Lead the monthly close for assigned entities, preparing the Balance Sheet, P&L, Trial Balance and variance analyses.
  • Load monthly results into Group reporting tools and respond to consolidation or regional queries.
  • Prepare annual US-GAAP financial statements and statutory filings.
  • Ensure Aherence to Accounting Standards and Controls and Support Audit.
  • Team Leadership & Service Delivery
  • Manage General Ledger team- staffing, training, performance management and succession planning.
  • Plan workload and resources, define and track SLAs, KPIs and productivity metrics, and report on performance to Senior CoE Manager and Regional Controller.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Drive Process Improvement & Transformation
  • Consolidation & Regional Support, including ad-hoc support to stakeholders.

Required Profile

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate and/or proactively address issues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products (above average Excel skills required).Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Understanding of financial terms related to product, software development, and service delivery.

Required Experience

  • BS in Accounting or Finance; a CPA is required; MBA a plus.
  • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • 3+ years of managing an accounting team
  • Experience with a mid to large ERP system, MS Dynamics ERP systems (D365 and Great Plains) preferred.
  • Experience with reporting systems, TM1 and BFC preferred.
  • Process improvement experience preferred
  • IFRS
