Manager - Electrical Maintenance & Automation

About the Company

A well-established manufacturing company in the Bidadi Industrial Area, Bengaluru, is hiring a Manager – Electrical Maintenance & Automation. Reporting to the Plant Head, the position will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability and performance of plant electrical systems, automation infrastructure and utilities.

Location: Bidadi Industrial Area, Ramanagara, Karnataka (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance of plant electrical systems, equipment and automation infrastructure.
• Oversee the maintenance and uninterrupted operation of factory utilities, including DG, AHU, ETP and STP.
• Manage electrical and automation breakdowns, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Drive automation initiatives and continuous process improvements to enhance plant productivity and operational efficiency.
• Monitor and improve MTTR and MTBF to maximise equipment availability and minimise downtime.
• Lead, mentor and develop the maintenance team while ensuring safety compliance, effective resource utilisation and achievement of maintenance KPIs.

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering, with relevant hands-on industrial plant maintenance experience.
• 8–13 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of PLC/SCADA-based machinery and industrial automation systems.
• Experience handling plant utilities such as DG, AHU, ETP and STP.
• Proven experience in leading and managing a maintenance team.
• Strong troubleshooting, electrical breakdown management and root cause analysis (RCA) skills.
