Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of EHV transmission line and Pooling Substation (PSS) projects.
- Conduct route identification, surveys, and optimization while minimizing Right-of-Way (RoW) challenges and environmental impact.
- Coordinate with engineering teams for tower design reviews, conductor configurations, sag-tension calculations, and substation integration.
- Obtain statutory approvals, including forest, highway, railway, river crossing, aviation, and utility clearances.
- Manage RoW activities, including landowner negotiations, compensation, and stakeholder engagement.
- Supervise EPC contractors, turnkey vendors, and survey agencies to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution.
- Liaise with STUs, PGCIL, and Load Despatch Centres to facilitate grid connectivity, charging, and commissioning.
- Drive project delivery while ensuring compliance with regulatory, technical, and safety standards.
What We're Looking For
- 8–12 years of hands-on experience in EHV transmission line execution (132kV, 230kV, 400kV, or above).
- Strong expertise in route planning, statutory approvals, RoW management, EPC contractor coordination, and project execution.
- Experience in transmission line commissioning and grid connectivity.
- Excellent stakeholder management, problem-solving, and project management skills.
