To succeed in this role you must have experience in:

Responsibilities:

• Design and build effective ETL pipelines for large datasets, ensuring data is accurate, up-to-date, and ready for daily reporting.

• Perform comprehensive data validation to ensure all datasets are consistent, accurate, and error-free before handing them over to analysts for reporting.

• Support the Data Analytics team by writing and tuning complex SQL queries for recurring and ad-hoc reports using Hadoop (Hive, Impala), Snowflake, and various source systems.

• Manage the full lifecycle of ETL processes, optimizing both new and existing workflows to ensure high query performance and efficiency for critical daily reporting.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, the Data Warehouse team, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in a Data Engineering position.

• Tech Stack: Strong SQL skills, with the ability to write complex queries involving multiple tables and systems. Experience in Hive, Impala, SnowSQL is a plus.

• Core Skill: proven experience in designing, creating, and optimizing ETL frameworks. Familiarity with Linux, Alteryx, and Python is a plus.

• Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to build processes that meet complex requirements, including finding creative workarounds when necessary.

• Attitude: A positive mindset and a strong willingness to expand your knowledge into Data Science and Analytics.
