Conduct comprehensive competitor research, monitoring industry trends, and recommending sales initiatives to Senior Managers and the leadership team.
Implement an effective target selection process, developing impactful sales solicitation strategies to increase the hotel's market share.
Identify new business opportunities through telemarketing activities, market research, and the execution of targeted sales solicitation strategies.
Cultivate relationships by entertaining target and potential clients based on strategic business priorities.
Ensure a high level of resort exposure through direct sales solicitation, telephone contact, and written communication, aligning all materials with Solaire's brand standards.
Develop and maintain sales proposals, presentation materials, and communications in line with the resort's brand standards, ensuring regular updates.
Implement agreed-upon sales action plans outlined in the Personal Business Plan, contributing to the overall success of the sales and marketing strategy.
Achieve monthly and annual personal sales targets, contributing to the financial objectives of the resort.
Ensure all contracts signed by the Sales and Marketing department adhere to established policies and procedures.
Attend major travel, trade, and corporate functions to network and promote the resort, coordinating with the Brand and Marketing division for participation in relevant events.
Manage key sales accounts and groups, evaluating performance based on sales account analyses prepared by the Revenue Management Team.
Actively participate in weekly sales and yield meetings, as well as monthly strategic meetings, contributing to the development and adjustment of sales and pricing strategies.
Stay informed about community, business, political, and social factors that may impact the hotel's financial performance.
Spearhead and/or participate in sales solicitation activities, demonstrating leadership and commitment to driving revenue.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Tourism, Business Studies, Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
Previous experience in hotel sales and events is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated success with a minimum of 5 years of progressive work experience in hotel and events sales.
Proficient in detailed event planning and coordination.
Adaptable and flexible, excelling in multitasking and thriving under pressure.
In-depth understanding of event services, covering logistical planning, client communication, and on-site execution.
Outstanding communication and people skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making skills.
