Job Description

Experience : 5 - 12 years

Timing : 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Location: Ahmedabad/Chennai/Noida

  • Manage a portfolio of UK clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of bookkeeping, accounting, and financial reporting services.
  • Design, implement, and improve customised accounting and finance processes based on individual client requirements.
  • Oversee end-to-end bookkeeping activities, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, general ledger maintenance, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare and review management accounts, MIS reports, financial statements, investor reporting packs, and other periodic financial reports.
  • Process UK payroll and prepare/review VAT returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations and statutory deadlines.
  • Manage client finance inboxes, resolve accounting queries, and maintain strong relationships through proactive communication and high-quality client service.
  • Review bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial reports prepared by team members to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and internal quality requirements.
  • Support managers and leadership in delivering complex client engagements and operational responsibilities.
  • Lead and contribute to ad-hoc projects, including financial modelling, business plans, consolidations, financial due diligence, fundraising support, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), and process improvement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, standardisation, and continuous process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, statutory regulations, and internal quality standards across all client engagements.
  • Train, mentor, and develop Assistant Managers, Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants, and new joiners through coaching, technical guidance, and performance support.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, employee engagement, and team development initiatives.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture while driving accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships by delivering exceptional financial support, commercial insights, and value-added advisory services.
