Management Trainee Program

BPI/MS Insurance Corporation is looking for high-potential graduates to join its Management Trainee Program, a structured two-year rotational development program designed to develop future technical leaders in insurance operations.

The Management Trainee will gain hands-on exposure to Underwriting and Claims functions, while working closely with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Compliance, Marketing, Sales, Policy Issuance, Branch Operations, PMO, and IT.

Through structured training, supervised rotations, and project assignments, trainees will develop technical insurance expertise, analytical capability, and business acumen in a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Mastery in Underwriting and Claims

• Participate in structured training covering insurance fundamentals, insurance law, reinsurance basics, and internal systems.
• Rotate across major underwriting lines including Fire, Engineering, Casualty, Marine, Motor, and Bonds.
• Assist in underwriting assessments, risk evaluations, and policy recommendations under supervision.
• Participate in claims evaluation and analysis across Motor and Non-Motor lines.

Operational Excellence and Process Improvement

• Analyze departmental workflows and operational processes during rotations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities such as turnaround time improvements and workflow simplification.
• Deliver mini-projects aligned with departmental initiatives and operational needs.

Business and Financial Acumen Development

• Participate in Finance rotation to understand how underwriting decisions impact profitability and portfolio performance.
• Develop understanding of insurance profitability drivers including premium flow, claims costs, and reinsurance structures.
• Present insights on how operational decisions affect financial performance.
