The
MIS Specialist is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organizations Management Information Systems to ensure efficient operations, data accuracy, and reliable network performance. The role includes providing technical support, conducting system analysis, and preparing reports to support informed decision-making.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and maintenance for existing MIS.
- Generate and review reports on system and business performance.
- Ensure stable operation of network, internet, and transactional systems.
- Conduct user training and assist with hardware/software concerns.
- Coordinate with internal teams and vendors on system upgrades and testing.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new or updated applications.
- Implement and monitor system security and data protection protocols.
- Develop and update process manuals and system documentation.
- Recommend software and hardware improvements to enhance productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reporting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic system administration.
- Knowledge in network management, database handling, or information security is an advantage.
