Job Description

The Management Accounting Associate is responsible for providing support to the business unit leaders and management in making critical business decisions by preparing, analyzing and presenting key financial data and metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in creating monthly, annual, or long-term cost projections and trend analysis and expenditures.
Collect and analyze data on operational costs and make recommendations on the company's processes and policies to help reduce cost and maximize profit
Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as the Logistics team and the Marketing & Product Management team to formulate the most accurate importation costs for the trading business
Regular analysis and reporting to drive product and business decisions
Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
CPA License is an advantage
At least 1 to2 years of progressive experience in management accounting, cost accounting, or general accounting.
Preferably with experience in a related industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and GSuite applications, familiar with Excel Macro and Google Apps Script
Proficient in communication skills (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills
Technically proficient i.e. tech savvy.
