Unlock Your Potential!

At TOA Global, we have a deep commitment to empowering individuals to excel in their enterprises, careers, and communities. Our global footprint stretches across Australia, New Zealand, North America, and the Philippines, supporting our global clients in the accounting and corporate finance sectors.

As a Management Accountant, you will step into a vital, highly collaborative role dedicated to an expanding Australian multi-venue hospitality portfolio. Operating under a hybrid work arrangement out of our Tarlac facility, you will serve as a strategic bridge between daily venue operations and high-level corporate finance. Working hand-in-hand with an offshore finance team based in Melbourne, you will transform high-volume operational and transactional data into sharp, actionable management reports that directly influence commercial decision-making, while participating in weekly WIP sessions and planning meetings to ensure you remain fully supported and engaged.

Your Impact

  • Ledger Management & Daily Reconciliation: Take ownership of maintaining Xero ledger accounts and execute the rigorous reconciliation of daily sales data across the group's diverse trading venues.

  • Venue Performance Reporting: Prepare weekly venue P&L statements and track critical hospitality KPIs, including revenue metrics, gross profit percentage (GP %), wages percentage, and localized operating costs.

  • Variance Analysis & Advisory: Conduct thorough variance analysis against budgeted targets and prior-year performance, providing clear, analytical written commentary for leadership.

  • Month-End Close Leadership: Support the end-of-month financial reporting cycle and take the lead on preparing comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Journal Entry Precision: Execute critical month-end journals, including intercompany reconciliations, complex accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset depreciation.

  • Budgeting & Reforecasting: Actively assist in compiling data for the annual corporate budget preparation and dynamic seasonal reforecasting models.

  • Australian Statutory Compliance: Assist with the preparation and lodgment workflows for Business Activity Statements (BAS), payroll tax, and other statutory requirements.

  • POS & Systems Analytics: Maintain systems and generate impactful reporting utilizing data from specialized hospitality and stock platforms, including Bepoz, Lightyear, and Costimator.

What You Bring

  • The Experience: Solid accounting experience, with a strong professional preference for individuals who have navigated the fast-paced nature of hospitality, retail, or multi-site/multi-venue environments.

  • Software Mastery: Advanced operational proficiency in Xero and intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills (building templates, data manipulation, and financial reporting layouts).

  • Systems Familiarity (Preferred): Prior exposure to hospitality POS, digital invoice capture, or recipe costing modules (such as Bepoz, Lightyear, or Costimator) is highly valued.

  • Operational Drive: Exceptional attention to detail combined with the time-management discipline required to hit strict weekly and month-end closing deadlines.

  • Communication Prowess: Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the corporate confidence to participate in live financial reviews and collaborate effectively with an offshore leadership team.
