Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of accounting experience, including preparation of full sets of financial statements, management accounts, reconciliations, and month-end reporting
  • Proven experience leading, mentoring, or supervising accounting teams and managing team performance
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with experience handling large datasets, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, management accounting, consolidations, and multi-entity accounting environments
  • Experience using Xero or similar accounting and financial management systems
  • Newly qualified, part-qualified, or currently pursuing ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent accounting qualification
  • Strong numerical, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience preparing multi-entity accounts and group consolidations is highly advantageous
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Highly organized, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Willing to work in an office-based environment and support cross-functional stakeholder requirements
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with UK and Philippine-based teams

Responsibilities

  • Prepare management accounts, consolidated reports, monthly finance packs, and ad-hoc financial summaries for multiple entities
  • Ensure financial data remains accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable across assigned business units
  • Maintain accurate intercompany reporting, balance matching, and reporting compliance
  • Manage accounting tasks such as debtors, creditors, accruals, reconciliations, and intercompany transactions
  • Track cash flow across entities, review variances, and recommend corrective actions when needed
  • Review costs, expenses, budgets, and financial results while identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and performance drivers
  • Deliver financial insights and practical recommendations to support operational planning and strategic decisions
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and group-level financial planning activities
  • Work with operational teams and stakeholders to communicate financial analysis, KPI results, and performance updates clearly
  • Help strengthen financial controls, reporting workflows, documentation, and compliance practices
  • Recommend process improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy
  • Guide, coach, and support team members in meeting daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables
  • Review team workloads, provide direction, and help resolve issues that may affect delivery
  • Identify skills gaps and coordinate training or development activities with management
  • Promote a collaborative, accountable, and performance-focused team culture centered on continuous improvement
