Financial reporting and performance analysis play a critical role in supporting large-scale business operations. The Qualifications We Seek
- Minimum of 2-3 years of strong management accounting or financial reporting experience
- Proven experience preparing financial statements, management accounts, and consolidated reports
- Hands-on experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis within multi-entity environments
- Newly qualified, part-qualified, or currently pursuing ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent professional qualification
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyse large financial datasets
- Strong understanding of management accounting principles, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany accounting
- Experience using Xero or similar accounting and financial reporting systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent English communication skills with ability to work closely with UK stakeholders and operational teams
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional finance teams
- Deadline-driven, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying process improvements
Key Responsibilities
Management Reporting, Consolidation & Compliance
- Prepare accurate and timely management accounts for multiple entities
- Produce consolidated management accounts and monthly information packs
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports
- Own integrity of financial data across multiple homes
Financial Monitoring & Analysis
- Monitor costs, spending, and budgets at entity and group level
- Analyze trends, identify risks, and highlight opportunities
- Identify performance drivers and propose improvements
Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Support consolidated budgeting for group-wide planning
Business Partnering
- Provide financial support to UK operational teams
- Communicate KPIs and insights clearly and professionally
Cash Flow & Controls
- Monitor and report cashflow across multiple entities
- Recommend corrective actions
- Support strong financial controls and documentation
Wider Finance & Continuous Improvement
- Assist with debtors, creditors, accruals, intercompany, and reconciliations
- Ensure accurate and timely intercompany reporting and balance matching
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting and operational efficiency
