Job Summary
The Mall Venue Manager is responsible for driving venue sales by identifying business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and maximizing venue utilization. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring revenue targets are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize venue bookings and revenue.
- Identify and acquire new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and client engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, advertising agencies, exhibitors, and business partners.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, contracts, and booking agreements aligned with client requirements.
- Conduct venue presentations, site inspections, and sales meetings to promote the venue's capabilities.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close venue bookings to achieve sales targets.
- Work closely with Marketing, Operations, Engineering, Security, and other support teams to ensure successful event execution.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, Communications, or a related field.
- At least three (3) years of experience in business development, venue sales, corporate sales, events, hospitality, commercial leasing, or account management.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and developing client relationships.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused, results-driven, and highly organized.
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when required.
