Job Description

BASIC FUNCTION

The General Facility Technician support the maintenance, repair, and daily operational needs of retail stores, logistics hubs, and office facilities by performing timely technical assistance, preventive maintenance, and minor repair works to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience in general facilities maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, lighting, air-conditioning assistance, and minor civil works
  • Support store openings, fit-outs, repairs, renovations, and maintenance activities across retail, warehouse, and office locations
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of stores, hubs, and offices to ensure operational readiness
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repair concerns, including on-site troubleshooting and field repairs
  • Assist with electrical, plumbing, lighting, and basic ACU repairs using proper tools and safety procedures
  • Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and third-party service providers to ensure timely and quality completion of works
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition and comply with company maintenance and safety standards
  • Demonstrate trustworthiness, responsibility, and the ability to multitask with minimal supervision
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solution-oriented, with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least a high school graduate or vocational/technical course graduate related to electrical, mechanical, or facilities maintenance. Technical or TESDA-certified training is preferred.
  • At least 1–3 years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance, building services, retail store repairs, or similar technical support roles.
  • Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to travel to different project sites
  • TESDA NC II Certification (Electrical, RAC, or related trade) is a plus
