As our operation continues, we are looking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to ensure all infrastructures, equipment, machineries, tools, building structure are in best shape.
Position Overview
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of all manufacturing equipment, machineries, tools, buildings, and facilities. This role oversees preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supervises maintenance personnel, and ensures compliance with safety, fire protection, and operational standards within a furniture manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the functionality, reliability, and safety of all production equipment, machineries, tools, buildings, and company premises.
- Develop, implement, and monitor a routine preventive maintenance program for all equipment, machineries and tools to minimize downtime.
- Supervise and lead maintenance crews, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and proper work allocation.
- Organize manpower, materials, and resources to complete maintenance tasks in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.
- Maintain accurate records and inventory of operational, under-maintenance, and non-functional equipment and tools.
- Identify maintenance needs and recommend spare parts, replacements, new equipment, and tools for acquisition.
- Ensure proper operation and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems (FDAS) and other installed building systems.
- Enforce safety procedures and ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) regulations while working with maintenance programs, local codes, and company policies.
- Coordinate with external contractors, vendors, and service providers as needed.
- Prepare maintenance reports and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Vocational or technical school training with hands-on experience in electrical systems, plumbing, industrial technology, building systems, and mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance practices in a manufacturing or industrial setting (preferably furniture manufacturing).
- At least with 3 years exposure in the same field of works.
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance with OSH regulations, electrical safety standards, local business codes, and other applicable safety requirements.
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to manage and motivate maintenance teams.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or respond to emergency maintenance issues when required.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in woodworking or furniture manufacturing facilities is an advantage.
- Familiarity with FDAS, HVAC, compressed air systems, and industrial machinery maintenance.
