Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead and manage the maintenance operations of a large-scale power generation facility. This role is critical in ensuring that all plant equipment operates efficiently, safely, and reliably, supporting uninterrupted power generation and operational excellence.

You will lead multidisciplinary maintenance teams and oversee systems covering equipment reliability, contractors, spare parts, safety, people development, and maintenance planning and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage overall plant maintenance operations (Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation & Control)
  • Ensure effective implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance programs
  • Analyze equipment reliability issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource utilization
  • Review and evaluate technical proposals, purchase requisitions, contractors, and suppliers
  • Ensure strict compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) and regulatory requirements
  • Develop, coach, and manage maintenance superintendents and technical teams
  • Coordinate closely with Operations, Engineering, Planning, Procurement, and external partners
  • Lead maintenance activities during outages, breakdowns, and major plant events

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics & Communications)
  • Must be a Registered Engineer (ME, EE, or ECE)
  • PME or PEE license is an advantage

Experience

  • At least 5 years of combined technical and managerial experience
  • Experience in power generation, preferably in a coal-fired power plant
