Job Description

The ideal candidate will be constantly assessing the systems in place to ensure that they are both safe and operating efficiently. This candidate will be comfortable managing a team and conducting analysis in order to highlight areas for improvement. This candidate should also be comfortable ensuring necessary utilities are working correctly and possess strong organizational skills in order to keep track of multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

  • The role involves managing and delegating various essential duties. These duties include:
  • Turnover Punchlisting: Preparing checklists, conducting quality testing, and transitioning projects to the Q&M Department.
  • Contract Management: Ensuring all agreement terms are fulfilled, including responsibilities and timelines.
  • Asset Management: Carefully documenting and overseeing all assets under control.
  • Warranty Management: Accounting for warranties, identifying operational assets, and facilitating claims.
  • Production Monitoring & Reporting: Ensuring system logs, online status, and data collection readiness.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Following maintenance schedules and recommending annual plans.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairs: Investigating and resolving issues related to trading and wear and tear repairs.
  • Safety: Ensuring all activities comply with safety standards.
  • Departmental Profitability: Managing departmental P&L to ensure profitability.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Analyzing system performance, handling incident reports, and creating finance reports.
  • Research and Development: Developing strategies, staying updated on solar PV operations, proposing improvements.

Others:

  • Make sure the company follows the rules and policies to stay legal and ethical.
  • The role requires attention to detail, proactive management, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Build trust relations with key partners, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Assist the AVP - Operations & Maintenance in other works that may be required in the fulfillment of duties

Qualifications

  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer
  • At least a total of 2-3 years-experience with operations and maintenance
  • Can handle many tasks at once and communicate well with top-level executives.
