Maintenance Engineer

A global manufacturer of customized food ingredients, coatings, seasonings, batters, breadings, sauces, and functional food systems in the Philippines is currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their team in Calamba, Laguna!

Job Overview

The successful candidate will oversee the preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and facility systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational reliability. The role also involves planning maintenance activities, managing spare parts inventory, and maintaining accurate maintenance records to support efficient plant operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all maintenance work complies with applicable standards, codes, and mandatory safety regulations

• Perform routine inspection, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, utilities and facilities condition.

• Analyze, plan and schedule Repair and Maintenance Request (RMR) based on priority and criticality.

• Monitor and control inventory of spare parts and consumables

• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections

• Assist the immediate superior on creating and monitoring the detailed maintenance plans (daily, weekly, monthly shutdown schedules)

Required Qualification / Experience

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer

• Has strong understanding of power distribution, motor control circuits and grounding systems

• With at least 2 years of relevant hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment

• With relevant experience in performing mechanical repairs of pumps, gearboxes, valves, piping systems and rotating equipment

• Good working knowledge of safety protocols (LOTO, Electrical Safety, etc.)
