Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of business-critical applications. The role involves working on large-scale batch and online processing systems, ensuring application stability, performance, and alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications.
• Support existing systems and implement application improvements based on business needs.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, development, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure system reliability.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver effective solutions.
• Maintain and optimize batch and online processing applications.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in RPG400, RPG III, COBOL, or SYNON development.
• Experience working in AS/400 (IBM i) environments.
• Alternatively, experience with COBOL or C programming on mid-range platforms such as DEC VAX or HP3000.
• Experience supporting and enhancing legacy business applications.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
