The Machinist operates machine tools to produce parts needed for the maintenance or repair of equipment, ensuring that equipment reliability targets are met.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Check and conduct repairs of equipment parts through machining
Operate, adjust, and set up the lathe machine
Fabricate parts that can be done in-house
Assist in maintenance, repair, and installation activities
Coordinate tools and materials needed for machinery work
Monitor and report the condition of machines
Perform other related duties as assigned
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards at all times
